The Nicola Valley Health Care Endowment Foundation gratefully accepted a donation of $80,000 from Teck Highland Valley Copper Operations (HVC) for the Emergency Room Expansion and Renovation Project at the Nicola Valley Hospital and Health Centre.
The generous contribution is a significant step towards the Foundation’s fundraising goal of $550,000 for this project. The cheque was presented to Foundation directors by HVC’s Peter Martell, Superintendent, Environment and Community Affairs; Marlena Anderson, Community Relations Supervisor; and Melissa Pinyon, Community Affairs Coordinator.

Through our engagement with the Nicola Valley Health Care Endowment Foundation, we became aware of the increasing demands on emergency services and the leading-edge technology that is being implemented as part of the expansion.
